We are a family-owned and operated company. The business started with Harold Smith who ran and operated the business with blood, sweat, and tears from the very beginning. His hard work earned him the reputation for a reliable and hard-working man making Straight Up Fence a well know name in the fence industry. Harold has since passed away and left behind the company to his loving wife Ruth Smith. Ruth is also a hard-working woman with strong values that keeps this company running strong today.  Today the company is striving and thriving because of the hard work and dedication put forth by not only her but by her crew and staff.  We run our company with Family Values looking out for our employees and caring for one another.
